Wed Jan 30 Snow Squall for Northeast USA

A polar cold front with a line of snow squalls will swing through the northeastern United States this afternoon, bring bitter cold air in its wake.

Here’s the 11:30ET radar map, which shows the squall line starting to form. Below is high resolution computer model forecast for the afternoon. The look a lot alike.

The squalls may be all done for NYC metro area and points south by 4 or 5 pm ET.
