Heads UP! Here we go again – on Wednesday

This storm for Wednesday is going to pass close to us according to a computer model, so the amount of rain vs. snow is uncertain. But the Weather Service is tossing out the model with the warmest temperatures, and going with a second low forming offshore and pulling colder air in with it.
The snow starts off strong after midnight overnight Tuesday/Wednesday and may give us half a foot by mid-morning Wednesday. Followed by mixed rain and sleet and some freezing rain, ending as drizzle and perhaps freezing drizzle Wednesday evening.
Next up is a storm for Sunday night/Monday, with the modeling making a moderate snow storm, but it’s too early to guess at snowfall amounts.

And the hits keep coming….

Here’s the straight story from the Weather Service…..and see the forecast snow amounts for Wednesday, included below……then scroll down for a cartoon http://xkcd.com/1324/
