A nice clear morning today; it was too bright out to see faint Comet Ison next to Mars and Regulus, but here’s their photo anyway – Mars is the redder and the star, Regulus is the bluer of the two ‘stars’ to the lower right at the bottom of the backwards question mark that makes up the front mane and paws of Leo the lion

Here’s two slightly wobbly views of Jupiter and its four moons this morning, taken with the Canon XS attached to the 200mm wide, 1200mm focal lenght dobsonian telescope via a 2x barlow lens.
