The sky above us has settled down and the Moon was very steady in the telescope Monday evening (Oct. 14).
Here’s a view with my Canon XS through a 55-250mm telephoto lens set at 250mm (maximum magnification), click on it to get the highest resolution. The small version approximates the view in binoculars and when you click and enlarge the photo, that’s the view for a small telescope….
Here’s a view taken by the Canon XS through my 8-inch 200mm wide dobsonian telescope with a 2x barlow lens, which makes the image larger and allows the telescope to focus with the camera attached…..
