As low pressure in the west drives southward, the weather seesaw pops the jet stream northward over the eastern US, dragging warm air with it – so no snow for at least 10 days in the mid-atlantic states.
Storms get pushed well inland – some trailing moisture brings some light rain for Friday and perhaps by Monday. Watch the temperature on Friday dawn – make sure it’s not at or below freezing on the roads if the rain arrives early on Friday. Otherwise – it’s all rain and warmth.
Temperatures may set daily high temperatures records by Sunday.
Change to a cold pattern may show up later next week as the jet stream seesaw swings back to cold for the eastern US.
