Tuesday’s storm on the east coast doesn’t quite get it’s act together, so not much snow is expected. The NWS is going for perhaps an inch during the day inland and a rain/snow mix in New York City. If the precipitation gets heavier than expected, they expect the storm would not bring more than two inches of snow. The storm is limited as the second impulse of energy doesn’t get there in time to enhance the storm.
Then a series of weak cold fronts will keep temperatures below normal for the rest of the week. Another weak front, this time a warm front may come through for the weekend, warming it up to the 50s for next week.
