Here’s a set of shots that Photoshop Elements stitched into a panorama.

There’s so much detail along the shadowed edge – craters with mountains – mountain ranges – valleys.

Here’s a shot of Venus – dimmed by the increasing cloud cover. Click to see the ghost of an image.

Here’s a strongly enhanced version of the photo – cropped to pick out Venus…..at half phase just like the Moon!
In April, Venus will shrink into a crescent phase as it comes around the sun between earth and the sun.
